Kite Aerial Photography
Decided to try something different this year, and got intrigued by some aerial shots I had seen that had been taken from a kite.
After plenty of research on the net, I have 'tipped my toe in the water' by buying a kite from California to suit my Panasonic Lumix LX3 camera.
The kite is a Flowform 16 which was bought with a kit of parts to build the rig. My son Ben is helping with the electronic side, as you need to control the shutter actuation and tilt and pan by radio control/servos.
Maiden launch (22/3) was fairly problem free, so we aim to get some good results over the next few months.
